Genshin Impact Version 5.9 Opens the Lantern of Nine Realms Festival on 28 October

HoYoVerse has published the full rundown of the Lantern of Nine Realms festival arriving with Genshin Impact Version 5.9 on 28 October. The event runs to 18 November and combines lantern-lighting puzzles along the Liyue shore, a co-op trial domain, and an arcade scoring mini-game.

Rewards worth grinding

Clearing every stage pays out 960 Primogems, a stack of Hero’s Wit, and one free four-star Liyue character, with Yanfei newly added to the selector after her adjustment. The final challenge stage unlocks an exclusive namecard and wind glider skin.

Version 5.9 also brings the In the Fires of Deep Reflection banner rerun, faster artifact loadout swapping, and a larger teapot furnishing inventory, alongside clearer event tracking in the quest menu.
